I was actually going through some readings online and then somehow I had to come across an article about Infants being dumped here and there....

I mean I do understand that accidents happen but don't have to go all the way to throw them or dump them here and there right? This is just so insane and sickening....

'Most infants die in dumps'

KUALA LUMPUR: A total of 472 baby-dumping cases were reported nationwide in the past five years and more than half of the infants were found dead.

Federal Criminal Investigation Department (CID) director Datuk Seri Bakri Zinin said there was an alarming increase in baby-dumping cases each year since 2005.

This year, 65 cases of baby dumping were reported. Twenty-six of the cases involved baby boys, 25 baby girls and the remaining 14 were foetuses. Most of these babies died after being dumped.

"From the 65 cases, 21 individuals, mostly the babies' mothers, were arrested.

"Six of them have been charged in court while two have been sentenced," Bakri said here yesterday.

The latest case happened on Sunday, where a baby girl was found dead on the banks of Sungai Tambun, near Cova Square in Kota Damansara, Petaling Jaya.

The baby, believed to be less than a day old, was found inside a black sling bag, wrapped in a piece of towel and green cloth.

Last year, a total of 79 cases of baby dumping were reported.

Twenty-nine of them were girls, 25 were boys and the remaining 25 were foetuses.

Bakri said police have identified two major factors that contribute to baby dumping, including illicit sex due to the influence of pornographic materials in the Internet.

Such pornographic materials can easily be shared through handphones.

Another factor is a poor family institution and less parenting care towards children.

Baby dumping cases are investigated for concealment of birth by secret disposal of a body, which carries a two-year imprisonment and a fine upon conviction.

 If you can't take care then no need a baby! You don't wanna have 1 then freaking have safe sex! Don't simply go around throwing kids! They are your own freaking blood right?! 

Sorry kinda really pissed. That many lives just wasted like that is really depressing. Though I do understand that having a baby nowdays is freaking expensive as everything is like super priced but that doesn't mean they don't have a right, no?

Hope this article can be moved around to everyone so that we could stand up againts this problem. Let's make the world a better place to be in! Though we start small I am sure many would join in and eventually we could make it happen!

Blind because of Water?

I received this from a colleague of mine today right after I came back from lunch was kinda shocked at 1st. I mean water being harmful? Of course there is always a doubt about it, no?

Well below is the news article about it. Though it was published in 2007, still it's better to share information around, no? XD

Kinda interesting but scary at the same time hor... Yea even I am kinda sweating over this. But a thought to ponder of why this has also happened. Humans. We destroy our ownself! We are so self destructive aren't we?

Correct timing to drink water, will maximize its effectiveness on the Human body.
  2 glass of water - After waking up -  Helps activate internal organs
  1 glass of water  - 30 minutes before meal - Help digestion
  1 glass of water - Before taking a bath - Helps lower blood pressure
  1 glass of water - Before sleep  - To avoid stroke or heart attack

That is supposedly the correct method of drinking water according to the mail I received. Yet to do much research from my side though. Would certainly check on it and update it here!! Dear Readers, you could share this with your dearests as well as your friends to ensure that everyone is safe...

Past few days my gf's and my mood haven't been that great off recently and I know that she was having PMS. But what about me? I was left to ponder if men ever do have PMS as I was feeling so. I knew the feeling was alike due to the explanations and description my "girl" friends shared with me. So I was left to ponder if that ever exist so I google-ed it up and man I was SHOCKED!!!

Study shows men also suffer from PMS

Stomach cramps, mood swings and hot flushes. Yes, it's that time of the month again.

But these are symptoms reported by men, not women. New research suggests men suffer from pre-menstrual-style symptoms, in some cases as badly as women.

The news is bound to be greeted with snorts of cynicism by most females.

But the study published today shows that the majority of men claim to suffer from a range of symptoms most usually associated with pre-menstrual syndrome (PMS).

Dr Aimee Aubeeluck of the University of Derby, who carried out the study, said: "We asked 50 men and 50 women lots of questions about symptoms normally associated with PMS and we found men actually scored higher than women in everything apart from water retention."

The men admitted to feeling antisocial and suffering poor concentration; depression; lack of arousal; hot flushes and pain - including stomach cramps, back pain and headaches. The team believes that the reason that men complained more than women may be because of their alleged lack of forbearance when it comes to illness.

Dr Aubeeluck, who is presenting her findings to the British Psychological Society conference today, said: "There is some evidence to suggest that pain thresholds differ between men and women so it could just be perception of pain.

"It could be women experience more pain but don't give it as much attention.

"When you are asking people to rate their experiences it is a little bit subjective." What causes the men's symptoms is, at present, a mystery. They may be triggered by stress but Dr Aubeeluck said the findings were significant enough to warrant further research.

She and colleague Joanne Worsey will now study couples over several months to discover if symptoms are cyclical for both men and women.

She said: "If men are experiencing big changes in mood, surely that should be addressed.

"While some may be coping, others may be wondering why they feel so down.

"It's really important for men that if they are suffering they feel they can talk about it and seek treatment."

The suggestion that men suffer from a form of PMS is bound to divide opinion - as has the theory of the male menopause.

Many doctors, including some British specialists, believe middle-aged men experience a sudden fall in testosterone - a hormone responsible for sex drive, sperm production and muscle tone.

However, a American study said that those who complain of hot flushes, excessive sweating, depression and a lack of sex drive are probably suffering the side effects of being overweight, lazy, smoking and drinking too much.

More than 50 per cent of men in their fifties are thought to suffer lethargy, lack of interest in sex, mood swings and even hot flushes, all of which could be caused by a lack of testosterone.

Yet in the study, of 1,700 men from Massachusetts, testosterone was found to decline very gradually with age, at about one per cent a year. The team concluded it was their unhealthy lifestyle that caused the unpleasant symptoms.

Once done reading the article I was literally stunned! I mean in a way it does make sense as men too do have the women hormones and that could explain PMS however it still remains a mystery of how exactly men could have it.
