I also joined lots of challenges, and don't think that I successfully completed a single one, although a came close on a couple. I've joined a ton more challenges for 2010, so we'll see if I do any better on them! I've been excitedly holding off on reading some books, because they were scheduled for challenges that didn't begin until 2010. So now I get to dig into them. Yeah!

Top 5 Books Read in 2009

Lorielle @ Just Book Around has started this meme for your favourite reads of 2009. Once you've done your post go over to the blog and sign up for Mr Linky so that other people can read it.

I didn't get through too many books this year (I'm a slow reader, and I didn't get started until April), but I think these are my favorite 5 books read this year:
  • Pull of the Moon by Elizabeth Berg
  • Of Bees and Mist by Erick Setiawan
  • The Color Purple by Alice Walker
  • Under This Unbroken Sky by Shandi Mitchell
  • The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
I can't wait to get started in 2010! I have signed up for so many challenges! Probably too many! Happy New Year everyone!
