12 petabytes is mind blowing, i remember my first windows pc with 300mb of hdd space.
And I remember my first 30mb external hard drive that only cost me 1000$

I suppose the original question should have been, "What have Apple got in there?"

One thing to note is that this is 12PB of RAW storage. Raid it, add in hot-spares, take into account formatting, and you got yourself 8ish max usable.
decent amount, but not mind-blowing.

There's nothing stupid about this. Its a huge privacy violation to have your locations constantly tracked without your consent, even if the data is not used directly by Apple.
For the 100000th time, it doesn't track your location.
Steve just does not look well in that photo - I even had to look closely to see if he'd been Photoshopped in or not as the colour of his skin is so different to the others'...

Reasons to get white iPhone 4:
1. Contract ends before new release.
2. Assuming there's a Sept/Oct release, there is a 5/6 month time period, which is like Dec/Jan if it's released in June.
3. You think iPhone 5 won't be much of a difference.
4. You really like white.
5. Your current phone is spoilt.
6. You had been holding off this whole time.
7. You feel that it's never ever wrong to get an Apple product regardless of time and/or edition.
8. You feel that, since everyone's got a black iPhone 4, going white would make you feel more unique and stand out from the crowd.
Reasons not to get a white iPhone 4:
1. You have a black iPhone 4.
2. Your contract probably lasts till after iPhone 5's release.
3. You desire iPhone 5's soon-to-be-announced ample/drastic improvements.
4. You prefer black to white.

Trying to jailbreak my 3GS for hours and no sucess .
it has the new ios 4 software , tried with pnwage tool 4.0 ,
got a message sayig that firmware is not compatible .
tried with redsnow , didnt work

There was so much missing it was easy to add stuff. And to add to the noise in this thread, yes, the notifications system needs to be improved. Right now, it's all or nothing, it needs to be a la carte.

What exact external HDD do you connect via what interface (USB & Firewire) to what exact Mac with what exact Mac OS X version?
And what do you mean with "it won't repair" via Disk Utility? Can you provide more info for that?
